MMA will be presenting its second special retreat for the independent investor and trader who wish to learn about forthcoming investment opportunities in financial and commodity markets for 2017-2018. This unique retreat will present the latest research results on the correlation between cyclical and geocosmic studies to financial markets that are on the cusp of new long-term trends. It will take place in one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the world: San Diego, California, where the Sun shiones every day! Our location – the Kona Kai Resort and Spa– is located right on the Pacific Ocean.
THE RETREAT
The MMA Long-Term Investment Retreat will take place over four days: March 10-13, 2017. The last day (Monday, March 13) will offer a “trading plan” for more active traders in financial and commodity markets.
The program is designed for independent investors and position traders who are seeking that “extra edge” in identifying long-term opportunities in financial and commodity markets that are on the verge of starting new long-term trends. Once you know what the longer-term picture looks like, you also know the type of investment or trading strategies to implement. You know whether to buy and trade from the long side, or to sell and trade from the short side. This retreat will enlighten you as to which markets represent the best opportunities for investing, based on the original and current studies that will be presented. Each morning and afternoon will end with interactive round table discussions with all presenters. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and make comments at these round table discussions.
THE PRESENTERS & THE MARKETS
The MMA Retreat will be headed by Raymond Merriman, President of the Merriman Market Analyst, Inc, (MMA) and the Merriman Market Timing Academy (MMTA).
In addition to Merriman’s latest long-term studies on Gold, stock indices, and the U.S. Dollar, other long-term research studies will be presented by special guests and selected graduates of the 2-year Merriman Market Timing Academy. These presentations may include a .long-term analysis on Crude Oil, Grains and Foods, Interest Rates, Currencies, and other world stock indices to be determined – especially those on the verge of new long-term trends. The full list of markets to be covered, and the presenters of these reports, will be announced by June 1, 2016.
Each presentation will last 25-45 minutes. Each will be followed by questions, answers, and a discussion headed by the presenter, Merriman, and one of the three special guest speakers. The discussions will focus on what types of investment or trading vehicles could benefit most from applying conclusions and strategies of the research presented, such as ETF (Exchange Traded Funds), mutual funds, commodity and financial futures, etc.
THE LOCATION
The location will be the Kona Kai Resort and Spa on Shelter Island, San Diego, California, where the sun shines every day.
This tropical resort overlooks San Diego Bay, and is located just 3.7 miles from San Diego International Airport and 5.7 miles from Cabrillo National Monument. All rooms are airy and colorful, with patios, 42-inch flat-screen TVs, minifridges and coffeemakers. There is also a private beach, outdoor pool, and the fitness center. Powerboats, kayaks and bikes are available for rent.
Special rates for MMA attendees will be announced shortly. The resort fee includes guestroom high-speed internet access, daily newspaper, fitness center access, local phone calls, long distance calls within the continental US and Canada, private beach access inclusive of beach chairs and towel service. To get this special rate, you must register under “Merriman Market Analyst.” Visit the Kona Kai Resort webiste to make your reservation. MMA Rates will apply three days either side of the March 10-13 event, if you wish to expand your stay.
SCHEDULE
The meetings will take place Friday through Monday (4 days), starting March 10. However, you may wish to arrive earlier and stay later to take advantage of all the splendid activities available in San Diego, such as Sea World, Old Town Gaslamp District, LaJolla, Belmont Park, Balboa Park, Seaport Village, Seal Tours, San Diego Harbor, and an abundance of sea and beach activities.

MMA Cancellation policy for tuition:
Our cut-off dates for discounts are June 21, 2016, and October 31, 2016.
Cancellation policy is:
25% cancellation fee if cancelled by June 21, 2016.
50% cancellation fee if cancelled by October 31, 2016.
75% cancellation fee if cancelled by January 15, 2017.
90% if cancelled after January 15, 2017.
No refund after February 15, 2017.
